APS may call Public Safety Power Shutdowns (PSPS) for the service area of Doney Park Water. We recommend that all customers make an online account with APS at the link below and keep their contact information current with both APS and DPW to receive notifications.

In the event that a PSPS takes place, Doney Park Water will continue water service for as long as possible.

Prior to a PSPS event, Doney Park Water asks all customers to limit water use to activities necessary to the health of its customers, livestock, and pets. Please cease all irrigation two days prior to a PSPS event.

To stay safe during an event it is recommended to:
  • Store a minimum of one gallon of drinking water per person per day.
  • Store two or more days worth of drinking water for livestock and pets.
  • Make sure your cellphone and any backup batteries are charged.
  • Make sure to have a flashlight, batteries, medications, basic first aid kit, toiletries, and non-perishable food that can be prepared without electric power.
  • Make sure you can manually operate your electric garage door and security gates.

If a PSPS event continues beyond our ability to provide water service to your water meter, emergency drinking water will be available. Please continue to watch this webpage for updates. If your Doney Park Water account information includes a current phone number, you will receive information from DPW.
