NOMINATING PROCESS FOR MEMBERS
How to become a candidate for DPW Board of Directors
Any member, otherwise eligible to be a director, may request selection as a candidate. Only members who have agreed to serve may be selected. Nominating petitions may be obtained from the Association’s office not more than ninety (90) days prior to the annual meeting. For 2025 they will be available at the DPW Business Office on 2-4-2025.
Nominating petitions must be in the form approved by the Association; may only be circulated by a member eligible to vote in the election; and must be verified by the circulator. The verification shall state that each of the names on the petition was signed in the circulator’s presence on the date indicated and that the circulator believes the signer is the person whose name appears, and is qualified to vote in the election.
Any member presenting a completed nominating petition to DPW by APRIL 4, 2025 containing eligible signatures of not less than twenty-five (25) members eligible to vote in the election shall be selected.
